Sunset through Smoke

There was a fire a couple miles away and the smoke made a beautiful sunset! I couldn't help, but take a few...well... a bunch of pictures. These aren't even how many I took!

 

 

My camera doesn't even give these pictures justice.

Fun with editing! Part 2!

9/11 tribute

My goodness. I haven't blogged in ages. But, today was really inspirational so I decided to post for all to enjoy and also to remember those who were involved with the horrific 9/11 attack. This post is going to be a lot different from my other ones, so I hope you like it.(: *all pictures taken by me*

September 11, 2001 8:46 am.

American Airlines flight 11, a hijacked plane with 92 ordinary citizens onboard, crashes into the North Tower of the World Trade Center killing hundreds.

(These are not graves of those killed on 9/11)

9:03 am.

United Airlines flight 175, another hijacked plane with 65 people on board, crashes into the South Tower of the WTC killing even more.

10:07 am.

Flight 93, yet another hijacked plane, is crashed into an empty field. Todd Beamer and others had possibly saved the White House from destruction. Todd Beamer's last words: "Let's roll."

8:30 pm.

"President Bush addresses the nation, calling the attacks 'evil, despicable acts of terror.'"

Let us always remember what occurred on September 11, 2001. Remember the lives given, the sacrifice made, and the lessons learned.
